International Conference on Big Data, IoT and Machine Learning held at Daffodil International University

The three-day long (September 6-8) Second International Conference on Big Data, IoT and Machine Learning (BIM 2023) concluded yesterday at Daffodil International University. The conference was organized in joint partnership between Institute of Information Technology, Jahangirnagar University and Center for Intelligent Computing, Computer Science and Engineering, Daffodil International University.

Member of Bangladesh University Grant Commission Professor Dr. Md. Sajjad Hossain and Daffodil International University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman were present at the inaugural session of the conference. Jahangirnagar University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Nurul Alam was present as a special guest. The Dean of Science and Information Technology Faculty of Daffodil International University Dr. Syed Akhtar Hossain, Professor Dr. M. Shamim Kaiser, Professor Dr. Sheikh Rashed Haider Noori and Professor Dr. Muhammad Abu Yusuf spoke at the opening session of the conference. Chairman of the conference Mohammad Shamsul Arefin presided over the event.

While speaking as the chief guest, the UGC member Prof. Dr. Md Sajjad Hossain said, “I am thrilled to be a part of BIM 2023, a platform where the brightest minds have come together to explore the possibilities of Big Data, IoT and Machine Learning. In the future our world will be intimately connected with these technologies, and I am amazed and delighted by the dedication and enthusiasm of the participants. He urged everyone to come forward to create a platform to collectively innovate, progress and create more collaboration and bridging with industry.
